Rainbow Spirit Festival acknowledges the Taungurung People as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Gathering Light takes place. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations people joining us here.
We also acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung and Wadawurrung Peoples, whose Country has long held our festival home, and the Wadawurrung Country where much of our work continues. We are grateful for the care, knowledge and ongoing connection to land that make gatherings like this possible.
We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and we commit to listening, learning and walking with respect on Country.
